Boring But Important Stuff
How to book and pay for your van.
£150.00 deposit is required to reserve your van. This is non refundable. The outstanding invoice will need to be settled in full 28 days before the hire starts. If your hire stars less than 28 days before the start of hire, then payment in full will be required.
Driver Age and Licences
All Drivers must be between 25 and 70, have held a UK or EU drivers licence for at least 2 years with less than 6 points. Any accidents (fault / no fault) from the past 5 years must be declared at the time of booking.
You will need to generate a DVLA code for all drivers in advance of the hire. This will need to be shared with us to make sure you are eligible to drive the vehicle.
Driver Restrictions
Please note: drivers must have no more than one insurance claim (fault / no fault) in the last 5 years.
Required Documentation
We will need to see the driving licenses of all drivers along with 2 utility bills no older than two months. These will need to show the same address as on your driving licence. We will not accept mobile phone bills. Copies of these will need to be emailed to us in advance of the booking and the originals to be presented to us on collection.
Security Deposit
A £500 security deposit is required before your camper hire and will be held over the duration of the hire period. This deposit will be refunded in full within 5 working days of the vehicle being returned on time, undamaged, with a clean interior, a full tank of fuel and with all equipment in place and intact.
If there is any damage to the van including loss of any equipment, tyre damage, low fuel etc. we reserve the right to use the security deposit as funding towards amending this. The remainder of this security deposit will be returned to the hirer once the damage/loss has been paid for.
Fuel Policy
All vehicles are supplied with a full tank of fuel at the start of the hire. Customers must return the vehicle full at the end of the rental. If you return the vehicle part full you will be charged for missing fuel at the end of the rental at the locally determined price along with a collection of fuel fee of £15.
